POSITION OVERVIEW

The Security Architect will be responsible to represent IT Governance Department throughout the enterprise supporting the overall strategy and security posture.

Act as subject matter expert on various information security related initiatives on behalf of IT Governance.
Act as senior consultant to help architect, design and test security controls throughout the Company and its subsidiaries within the policies and procedures set forth by Governance.

Help architect, formalize, communicate and monitor the IT Governance Department's overall security strategy through policies and standards.

Provide oversight and direction to Corporate Compliance Committee on IT security related matters
Assist in discovery, investigations and forensics for legal, regulatory compliance and HR issues related to information security

Assist in the remediation of suspected or discovered information security events (incident response)
Perform validation of published security policies, standards and procedures.

Conduct various risk, vulnerability, security and technical assessments throughout the company, its subsidiaries, business partners and vendors to reduce overall risk and strengthen the Company's security posture and address various compliance and regulatory issues.
Awareness into emerging security best practices, threats and developing technologies.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
? Respond to and address incoming questions and requests related to information security from Company associates
? Update department documentation and/or knowledge base
? Provide ad-hoc consulting services and subject matter expertise to Company associates, business partners and vendors on an as-needed basis.
? Act as proactive and willing advocate for departments posture on information security
? Provide subject matter expertise throughout the Company on ongoing Company initiatives and projects
? Update department documentation and/or knowledge base
? Update and maintain any compliance and/or regulatory documentation
? Proactively maintain ongoing awareness into emerging security best practices, threats and developing technologies
? Act as proactive and willing advocate for departments posture on information security
? Plan, communicate and execute various risk, vulnerability, security and technical assessments throughout the company.
? Perform validation of published security policies, standards and procedures on a scheduled basis.
? Provide subject matter expertise throughout the Company on ongoing Company initiatives and projects
? Act as proactive and willing advocate for departments posture on information security
? Assist in discovery, investigations and forensics for legal, regulatory compliance and HR issues related to information security
? Assist in the remediation of suspected or discovered information security events (incident response)
? Prepare and provide security awareness training

QUALIFICATIONS
- Undergraduate degree
- 5-10 years of related work experience
Industry recognized certifications:
- CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
- CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor)
- MCSE: Security, CCNP, CCSP and related certifications beneficialdf-tc
