The Security Assurance Services practice has developed its security solutions to assist in mitigating the risks inherent with Information Technology - security, privacy, compliance, cyber crime and fraud, hacking, and service disruptions. We offer services to help clients build the necessary defensive mechanism systems and create effective internal control policies to protect their business or organization for the very real threat of cyber crime. We provide a number of IT security and compliance services to our financial institutions clients and have experienced significant growth in the last few years and need talented individuals to add to our team that serves this industry.

Position Description:

The Consultant position offers an experienced consulting professional significant growth opportunity within the fast growing Security Assurance group. The position involves frequent overnight travel throughout the Midwest (principally Michigan, Ohio, and Illinois) and relocation may not be necessary if you currently reside in one of these states. The successful candidate will perform the following reviews, primarily for our financial institutions clients:

• Information Technology (IT) Audits and Risk Assessments
• IT General Controls Reviews including regulatory compliance engagements for Sarbanes Oxley, and GLBA
• Business Continuity Planning & Disaster Recover Plan development
• Marketing Plante & Moran services to current and prospective clients

• 2-5 years of experience performing IT Audits (SOX, GLBA, ITGC, etc.), Technical Security Assessments, Business Continuity Planning, or IT internal controls design and implementation
• Prior security assurance or risk management experience with a public accounting or security consulting firm
• Experience working with community banks a plus
• Proven client service skills and strong problem solving skills
• Bachelors Degree require, MBA preferred
• A CISA, CISM, OR CPA would be preferred
• Self starter with high energy
• Available for up to 60% - 70% overnight travel
• Strong Communication skills (written and verbal)
• Superior Problem Solving ability
• Project Management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
