A leading information security company, based in Atlanta, GA, has retained our firm to find a Security Consultant to join their Atlanta operations. We prefer candidates that are already established in that territory.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Provide consulting services to customers in presales, implementation, and post sales capacity on our client's security suite.
- Participate in a team consulting environment
- Audit/consulting to include client?s management of data (Source Documentation, Data Processing, Storage Management, Back Up, and Archiving)
- Audit/consulting to include client?s system security (User Acct. Management, Data Classification, and Security Protection)
- Audit/consulting to include client?s change management (Change Requests, Control of Changes, and Software Release Policies)

QUALIFICATIONS:
2+ years in the internetworking industry demonstrating a knowledge of:
- Firewall Technology
- Security Practices (Audits, planning, design, implementation, testing, and management)
- LAN/WAN internetworking technology
- Policy and Procedure review and implementation
- Cryptology tools, methods, systems, and protocols
- Networking and Application Protocols
- Other Security controls in a variety of shapes & sizes
- Experience with assessments
- Understanding and/or experience with COBIT
- Experience with Win, Sun Solaris, Siebel, and Oracle

- 4 Year degree from an accredited institution
- Superior communication and presentation skills
- Excellent technical writing and documentation skills

CERTIFICATIONS:
CISSP - recommended

NICE TO HAVES:
- Additional training in other security products
- Certifications ? CISA, CISM, CPA
- Familiar with SOX, COSOdf-tc
