TITLE: SECURITY CONSULTANT (FIREWALLS)
TYPE: Contract - 1-3 months
START DATE: Immediate
LOCATION: Atlanta, GA

PROJECT:
Atlanta client needs onsite Engineer to work on firewalls including Nortel and Checkpoint. Product experience in implementing and trouble shooting for these types of firewalls is required. The position is viewed as staff augmentation.

QUALIFICATIONS:
1+ years of formal training experience with 3+ years in the internetworking industry demonstrating a knowledge of:
? Firewall Technology
? Security Practices (Audits, planning, design, implementation, testing, and management)
? LAN/WAN internetworking technology
? Policy and Procedure review and implementation
? Cryptology tools, methods, systems, and protocols
? Networking and Application Protocols
? Cisco Security Products
? Other Security controls in a variety of shapes & sizes

- Experience with Checkpoint and Nortel ASF Firewalls required
- Superior communication and presentation skills
- Experience teaching technical subjects to diverse audiences
- Excellent technical writing and documentation skills
- Tactical and strategic expertise in designing, implementing, managing, and enhancing network environments utilizing security technology


CERTIFICATIONS/TRAINING:
- CISSP ? recommended
- Additional training in other security products including ISS
- Additional certifications in other security products including ISSdf-tc
