Description
Must have knowledge in security technologies such as PKI, authentication, encryption solutions; application skills and hands-on experience with Linux, virus detection, proxy servers, network diagnostic tools, intrusion detection systems including sniffers, surveillance systems and network infrastructure security solutions; Must have an understanding of Microsoft networks, operating systems and product lines; Previous experience with firewall products, network load balancing devices and Cisco equipment; In depth understanding of TCP/IP, RIP and BGP/BGP4; Ability to work independently with a minimum amount of supervision; Ability to identify threats and vulnerabilities to our infrastructure as well as calculate risk; Ability to design, plan and implement a security solution from beginning to end; Must be organized and able to work effectively against deadlines; Strong interpersonal skills, both verbal and written; Ability to utilize Excel, Visio and Word for job functions.

Beneficial Skills and Experience
Use of SAN solutions for local and remote use; Knowledge of production operations in Internet based or financial services based processing systems; Understanding of credit card fraud detection mechanisms and cryptography are a plus. Ability to work independently is a must.
