Security Engineer - CISSP - Top Secret - CISA - CISM -SSCP - VPN - Firewalls - Top Secret Clearance - TS-SCI - TS - HTTP - SMTP - FTP

What you need for this position:
- 10+ years of Overall Engineering experience
- 3+ years High-Level Security Engineering experience
- Top Secret Clearance, or the ability to earn Top Secret (TS) Clearance
- Hands-on knowledge of Content Inspection (HTTP, SMTP, FTP)
- Must have at least 2 of the following certifications:
(CISSP, CISA, CISM, SSCP, Certified Ethical Hacker)
- Experience with MANDIANT, IBM Security, Proventia, F5 Security, Big-IP, Blue Coat Security desired
* CISSP is Highly Desirable*
- Must be open to travel/commute to client sites within the DC metro area


Responsibilities
- Provide appropriate design, installation, configuration and support services for our core security products.
- Perform work described on technical proposals delivered to clients
- Ensure excellence when delivering technical solutions to clients.
- Maintain responsibility for security solutions, such as; firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention, content inspection (HTTP, SMTP, FTP), authentication of VPNs and security assessments.

What you'll be doing:
- Assessing client's network environments and recommending suitable security solutions
- Design and deploy security solutions with our supported security products
- Proper configuration and modification of solutions
- Provide continuous technical support in order to enhance the client relationship and overall completion of technical projects
- Perform knowledge transfer/orientation to customers as an essential element of our security solution deployments
