This position is for the world's largest software company, headquartered in Redmond, Washington.

The Security Engineering and Communications team is at the center of company-wide efforts to design and deliver more secure products. It's our mission to react to security incidents and help to prevent them in the future. We are seeking a self-motivated developer to work on the next version of our Threat Modeling Tool, a tool helping product groups throughout the company create more secure products.

In this role you will be responsible for writing UI components, internal business logic, data import/export and interoperability with other tools. You will be working directly with a program manager who provides the specifications and drives the requirements.

Qualifications - The ideal candidate will have strong coding and problem solving skills, at least 3 years of experience designing and developing WinForms applications, solid UI design skills, fluent C#, good understanding of XML technologies and database concepts, deep knowledge of .NET Framework class libraries. Familiarity with tools and processes used in software development industry, ability to code according to provided specifications and to test the produced code are required. Experience in software security area is a plus. Candidates must have a degree in computer science or related field, and have shipped at least one commercial Windows application.
