CDI IT Solutions is looking for a strong Information Security Engineer to be a part of a cutting edge team within a stable, advanced company.

This position is responsible for VAS-UnixSecure, SecureFTP and NDM Secure+ Technical Support: supporting Unix/Linux servers that are installed with an Active Directory Kerberos based Secure Single Sign On solution and/or Secure File Transfer.

This position entails working on technical troubleshooting, problem ticket resolution, implementation of changes, responding to technical inquiries via e-mail and acting as a technical resource on implementation projects for the security products supported by our Team.


Required Skill Set:

The ideal candidate should be a dynamic problem solver, someone who has advanced skills with troubleshooting software/application problems on Unix/Linux Servers.

Advanced Systems Administrator Level experience on at least 3 of the following operating systems:

Red Hat Linux, SuSE Linux, Solaris, HPUX, AIX and Windows Server.

Experience supporting and troubleshooting issues with OpenSSH or a commercial SSH Server product and SecureFTP software on Unix/Linux Servers.

Experience with both SFTP and FTPS is preferred.

Exceptional customer service, communication and organizational skills.

Must be able to handle and keep clear tedious amounts of technical detail for implementation and user conversion projects.

Willingness, desire and proven ability to work on varied technical support tasks: technical troubleshooting, problem resolution, server O/S installs, testing, documentation, escalation of end user support issues and Unix shell scripting.


Skills that would be a Plus:

Conceptual knowledge of Kerberos or GSS-API.

Experience with Information Security Technology products/services and/or projects.

Experience supporting VAS (Vintela Authentication Services) or Connect: Direct (NDM) Secure+.

Extensive knowledge of Unix accounts; understanding of UID, GID, Home.df-tc
