Are you ready to be a Security Engineer with a leading Telecommunications Firm? Are you a self-starter with a desire for continuous learning? Then we have a position for you! A leader in the Telecommunications Industry is looking for a Security Engineer who possess very strong technical professional specializing in network security, firewall and security technologies, packet decodes, and analysis. The focus of the team is Firewall and Security Services, but a strong knowledge in general networking concepts pertinent to Router, Switching and Load balancing a must! The position is part of the Firewall and Security Services Tier III group responsible for managing complex problem escalations, performing simple to complex changes/migrations and upgrades. There is a regular need to shift work week hours to weekend hours for scheduled changes and there is occasional need to travel on-site to local centers and assist with remote hands and eyes and perform new installs. A minimum of 5 to 8 years experience in multiple areas of technology, a broad skill set across networking and security, a background in technology, experience as a solutions architect/integrator, and knowledge/experience in an Internet Data Center environment is all a must! You must have a CCNP Certification. This position directly interfaces with external clients and is highly visible and also involves complex problem engagements, interfacing with customers, vendors and developers, performance tuning, and development of ad-hoc tools to aid in identifying trends and isolating problems during times of critical need.
