Project Description:
The Lightshield Program is responsible for information security of the Lightspeed Triple Play product line which includes: Internet Protocol TV, Consumer Voice over Internet Protocol and High Speed Internet access.The contractor will be assigned to work on projects which fall into one or more of the following Lightshield security initiatives of: Fundamental Security, IP Security, Service Specific Security and Futuristic Security.

Job Description:
Support Lightshield Security initiatives through the following support tasks:
- B.S. in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or related field is required
Senior programmer with experience in the following languages:
Core Java, Web Development; Development in UNIX/LINUX environment; Shell programming; Experience with IDEs such as Eclipse
Web Technologies:
HTML, JSP, Tag Libraries, JSTL, AJAX, MVC Framework, Spring, Hibernate, JDBC, XML/JSON, ANT, LOG4J,
JavaScript libraries like Scriptaculous, Prototype, jQuery
Databases: MYSQL, ORACLE, SQL Programming
SERVERS: Apache, TOMCAT preferably other Application servers architectures
??? Conduct application security code reviews to identify potential exploits in application code
??? Perform highly technical/analytical application-level security testing and risk analysis
??? Configure and employ various security testing software and apply results to security analysis
??? Code and demonstrate proof-of-concept exploits of identified vulnerabilities
??? Provide mitigation recommendations and track remediation efforts
??? Coordinate efforts in planning, execution, and mitigation of identified vulnerabilities
??? Perform research on new threats against advanced/emerging IP services, and new measures to counter the threats
??? Additional Requirements:
o C/C++ Experience; Web services/SOAP; FLOT, HTML5, WEB 2.0, WEB 3.0 Technologies, Google APIs; Programming Smart-phones: Like iPHONE programming, Windows Mobile programming using Visual Studio and J2ME
o Understanding of mobile communications security, messaging architecture and data operations. Experience with wireless technologies including SMS, MMS, WAP-Push, GSM, CDMA, UMTS, EDGE, W-CDMA, LTE
o Knowledge of wireless industry specification for handset technologies
o Understanding of mobile systems such as Over-the-Air Device Control, Wireless Virus Protection, Content Development, Tracking Systems, GIS Database Systems, Wireless Security and Multimedia Services Systems
o Strong prototype testing and demonstration testing skills
o knowledge of messaging SS7, ISUP, IS41, INAP, IP and IMS messaging
