Position Description
The Security Officer position is responsible for the day-to-day security and safety operational issues. The Officer will be responsible for acting in a proactive capacity to ensure safety and security compliance. Candidates will be expected to perform basic security functions to include fielding customer service issues (badge access, etc.), assisting with evacuations and major emergencies, perimeter security audits/patrols, and basic service requests such as unlocks, lockdowns and escorts. The Security Officer's primary objective is to show a visible security presence to deter threats to client assets, people, property, and information.df-tc

Experience/Skills
? Must be 18 years of age or older
? Must be able to provide proof of ability to work in the United States
? Ability to read, write and speak English
? Must be able to write detailed reports as needed
? No felony or misdemeanor convictions
? High School diploma or GED
? Ability to interact with the public in a direct and professional manner
? Candidates must be detail oriented and work well under pressure
? Must be able to effectively multitask and prioritize
? Must appear and present themselves professionally
? Must have the ability to work with minimal supervision
? Must be able to make proper decisions in stressful situations based on training and common sense (verbal conflict resolution, patient restraint, etc.)
? Be able to conduct interior and exterior building patrols as required, respond to all emergencies as directed & perform the essential functions of the position with reasonable accommodation
? Negative result on the pre-employment drug screen
? Interact with clients while providing education and awareness
? Must have good driving record
? Must be flexible to work additional hours as necessitated
