We have an immediate need for a Security Specialist/Administrator

JOB DESCRIPTION
Large IT Corporation is in need of a Security Specialist/Administrator (URGENT NEED)
Location: Boulder, CO

Individuals with System Administrator experience in:

• UNIX, Sun Solaris, HP-UNIX, Linux, AIX, VMWARE devices, ZOS operating systems, MVS, AS/400 devices, Tandem, Windows Devices, and Network Devices
• Fundamental Security Knowledge
• Ability to learn internal Security Controls (Commercial Policies - ISeC)
• Ability to learn internal System to record compliance and/or security issues
• Audit experience
• Verbal and written capabilities to communicate issues and produce written data sheets
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, including verbal and written communication skills, the ability to work well both individually and within a team environment, and interacting with both technical and non-technical individuals.
• Ability to learn TCIM and internal systems functions
• Ability to follow scripted desk procedures
• College Degree preferred but will consider applicants with equivalent work-related experience
• 2 years or more of security services experience with a focus on Log Monitoring and application monitoring and a fundamental understanding of security principles and the security life cycle
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, including verbal and written communication skills, the ability to work well both individually and within a team environment, and interacting with both technical and non-technical individuals.
• The ability to create detailed written recommendations in identifying security exposures and business Controls.
