Start: ASAP

Description:
Senior Security Engineer to support the Force XXI Battle Command Brigade and Below Blue Force Tracking (FBCB2-BFT) program. Candidate will provide the technical leadership, management and guidance in all aspects of security for the FBCB2 program. Candidate will provide the FBCB2 management team with support, guidance and advice on security issues. Perform trade studies; analyze and allocate NSA imposed and other security requirements; develop security architecture compatible with requirements; oversee the preparation of NSA and other security certification documents; participate in related meetings with customer and interact with systems and software engineers to ensure design will meet security requirements.

Education:
Tier One universities only; 3.7 GPA or higher.

Experience:
Minimum 5-10 years of working experience in the security field. - Possess a broad knowledge of government security requirements and regulations. - Strong working knowledge of special security requirements to include crypto, COMSEC, Type I encryption and NSA certification. - Ability to work with minimal supervision, do multitasking and function under pressure. - Experienced in meeting NSA requirements and knowledge of the DoD Information Technology Security Accreditation and Certification (DITSCAP) for communication systems required. - Proven track record implementing DoD and security policies associated with the certification and accreditation of information systems is required. - Experience with multi-level security. - Excellent verbal and written communications skills, demonstrated ability to interface with program management, customer and peers.

Requirements:
BS degree - CS/Math/Engineering or equivalent experience

Network protocols including TCP/IP, UDP, MDP - Rapid and broad deployment and support of a complex communications infrastructure that includes LAN, WAN, wireless, SATCOM, in a secure military operational environment. - Linux/Unix and Windows environments - ISO and/or CMMI, level 3+ in systems engineering

Top Secret Clearance desirable.

Experience with INFOSEC, COMSEC, and TRANSEC designs in hardware and software desirable. - Experience with HAIPIS

Develop IKMF (Integrated Key Management Facility) CONOPS and Specification: performance requirements, physical requirements, external interfaces, software, reliability, maintainability, environmental, and design and construction requirements

Integrate BFT T1ED (Blue Force Tracking Type 1 Encryption Device) and non-Type 1 Commercial Satellite Network into AKMS (Army Key Management System).

Address the integration of managing all keys in MFT key Management System (Type 1 and non-Type 1, OTAR (Over the Air Rekey) and OTAZ (Over the Air Zeroize) functions, physical re-key scheme)

Describe BFT Key Management Systems link to FBCB2 database

Verify IKMF complies with both Army and US Marine Corps EKMS (Electronic Key Management System) implementations and the future Key Management Infrastructure.

Engage, participate and receive guidance from BFT Key Management Working Group (BFTKMWG)

Collect all existing draft of KMPs (Key Management Plans) or the whitepaper on key management and submit to BFTKMWG: key types, protocols, classification, crypto periods, key distribution and loading, storage, recovery, and usage
