Description
We are actively seeking a candidate with experience overseeing large telecom projects or site builds. Must have CDMA knowledge. The Project Managers responsibilities include defining and planning the project, and then managing risk, issues, scope, communication, etc. The Project Manager typically has 100% responsibility for managing the project management processes. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Handling project resources scheduling and assigning tasks to team members.

* Closely monitoring items or activities missed and re-scheduling where required, completing sub-activities that could not be carried out previously.

* Assisting in project budget and actual project expenses review and recommendations for cost control. Clearly defining risk mitigation plans and carrying them out effectively to customer's satisfaction.

* Scheduling training / re-training where needed to ensure quality of work.

* Deliver projects on time, within budget and with good customer satisfaction.

* The Project Manager usually has shared responsibility for people management - along with the functional managers.

Additional requirements:

* 10+ years proven telecommunications Field Project Management experience, with a minimum of 5 years project management experience in GSM, CDMA, or UMTS Telecom Wireless industry

* Well-versed and experienced in MS Project and process management methodologies

* Good communication skills, both written and verbal

* Good people management abilities. These include leadership, motivating, communicating effectively, listening, providing performance feedback, etc.

* Internationally recognized professional Project Management certification, such as PMI, is desirable.df-tc
