Title: Software Architect
Description:
Seeking a motivated and highly experienced Software Architect to join a dynamic and fast-paced web development team. This position oversees all architectural aspects of solution; developing plans covering conceptual/logical/physical architectures for the clients platform.

Qualified candidates must demonstrate an in-depth understanding of current web software design and have architected and coded complex software systems. This position requires the successful candidate to demonstrate strong analytical and technical competencies and be a strategic thinker.

Requirements:

Minimum of 8 years development experience in a leading role.
Strong foundation in foundation in Java, J2EE, scripting languages, Ruby, Python, AJAX and XML.
Solid background in development tools a must. (Apache, Ant, Cruise Control, Subversion, Eclipse, NetBeans, Linux).
Excellent communication and solid organizational skills with the ability to deliver practical results against deadlines.
Must have ability to work with technology vendors in the delivery of project solutions.
Must have demonstrated expertise in systems analysis, design and computer programming, including current technologies. Competency in intranet/internet technologies required.
In-depth knowledge of the agile software development lifecycle.
In-depth knowledge of relational databases required, specifically SQL Server & MySQL.
Must have a breadth of understanding of technology and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Systems administration and integration experience is a plus.
A limited amount of international travel.
Education: Bachelors degree in Information Technology with extensive web development experience.

Salary: $110K - $115K
