Senior .NET C# Web Developer

Accountable for understanding the business needs of the organization and translate those needs into technological systems design specifications and solutions. Works with business partners to analyze, design, develop, implement and integrate moderate to complex business systems that will support Humana's business objectives in order to optimize business results.


5+ years of web application development, 2+ years in .Net C# environment.
Minimum 5 years in application design and development.
Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as part of a larger development team.

Demonstrated experience in design of web applications using formal design processes, with some focus on .Net architecture and development.

Web / Intranet Application Developer:
C#, .NET, ASP.NET, SQL Server 2000(development and optimization), JavaScript, XML, HTML

Pluses:
UML, Visual Basic 6, CSS, nUnit, Microsoft Enterprise Library, Microsoft Application Blocks, Design Patterns, IBM MQ Series


Experience with provider data and provider contracts
Capable of creating and understanding raw HTML code, JavaScript and VBScript routines.
Design and create .Net web services a plus
Application development in ASP.Net and VB.Net
Understanding of Component Object Model a plus
Ability to create, maintain and call COM components in Visual Basic.
Understanding of COM behavior under MTS.
Understanding of ADO and XML DOM.
Ability to create and maintain tables, stored procedures, triggers and DTSs within SQL Server 2000
Understanding of relational database design process.df-tc
