US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED. This position shall report to the E-Mail Operations Manager, and be responsible for the following tasks: Serve as primary SendMail (MTA) Administrator to include constant monitoring of mail flow, task setup, rule generation, configuration changes, and general administrative tasks. SendMail v.8.12 runs on three Sun servers processing 500,000 emails daily. Serve as primary Brightmail (Anti-Spam) administrator to include monitoring constant rule downloads, configuration changes, and general administration. Implement occasional SendMail and Brightmail upgrades to include coordinating the test environment, product testing, and implementation schedule. Serve as primary point of contact for isolating and resolving all problems on up to 10 Domino Sun Servers, to include filing and updating problem reports and following problem escalation procedures. Maintain production systems availability and coordinate with maintenance providers. Upgrade this infrastructure as required to include building new servers, expanding memory or storage or replacing other components. Identify and resolve Notes server problems and issues including configuration settings, OS conflicts, and hot fixes on both Unix & Windows servers (65 servers nationwide). Maintain and ensure operability of COTS products such as anti-virus software. Open trouble tickets with OEM/maintenance provider as needed and provide all diagnostic data and files for analysis. Apply debug routines/parameters when applicable and capture results. Provide required after hours support on an emergency basis to resolve server outages. Install and/or upgrade Notes Domino platforms. Complete all documentation required for change approval & implementation. Provide tier 2 phone support and utilize remote administrator software to troubleshoot Lotus Notes client, user administration, or mail file problems. Troubleshoot issues with personal address books, location documents, failover, calendaring, accessing mail, to-do lists, out-of-office agents, archiving, etc. Preferred Requirements. 8+ years IT administration experience, including customer service, database administration, and server operations 6 - 8 years operating Solaris 2.6 & Solaris 8 operating systems. 4 years indepth SendMail experience 6 years Notes/Domino Administration experience including e-mail and applications. 2 years Windows OS administration experience Bachelors degree in Information Systems, comparable technical discipline, or 8 yrs equivalent work experience. Customer focus and ability to provide clearly written status reports and problem analyses.
