AS/400 Personnel is actively searching for a Senior .NET Developer on behalf of a major client in Seattle. Selected candidates will play a key role on the E-Commerce Application Development team. This role requires participation in architecture sessions, design sessions, and code development for various projects to support the Company s e-Commerce business area. Will also be required to play the role of development lead on projects, ensuring SDLC is followed and the required artifacts are produced.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for developing an extensive E-Commerce site for Fortune 50 Company; including robust, multi-user software applications.
Create conceptual and detailed design documents (applications & database).
Play the lead developer role on development initiatives, including design sessions.
Provide accurate and timely estimates (work breakdown schedules).
Document and execute software test plans (unit and integration testing).
Define and implement standards and best practices for software development.
Support the software development lifecycle and framework.
Responsible for ensuring the maximum availability and quality of the company website.
Participate in code review sessions as a coordinator, owner, reader, recorder or observer.
Responsible for supporting the needs and requirements of other I.S. departments.
Provide 3 rd -level support for production applications.
QUALIFICATIONS:
4+ years programming with .NET framework, ASP.NET, SQL Server, Web Services, C#, SOAP,
and XML.
3+ years experience developing in distributed applications (OO & UML).
3+ years experience as a development lead on major projects, E-Commerce preferred.
4+ years experience writing conceptual and detailed design documents, including UM
diagrams.
2+ years experience with Web and UI development using technologies such as: HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, Ajax, jQuery or Silverlight.
Very strong experience with Microsoft development tools (Commerce Server, Visual Studio.NET, Visual SourceSafe).
Must have experience working within a formal software development lifecycle, including testing.
Must be extremely responsive, able to work under pressure in crisis with a strong sense of urgency.
Must be detail oriented and possess strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze for potential future issues.
Salary for this position is $85,000 to $90,000 with an exceptional benefits package including relocation.
