Description
My client in Dearborn, MI is looking for a Senior AIX Administrator and Technical Lead to manage all phases of the AIX environment including capacity planning, forcasting, performance tuning, install, configure and manage both users and equipment. This is a 12+ month contract assignment.

Significant knowledge of network and systems security and disaster recovery planning and implementation are required. Enterprise Management/monitoring using HP Openview tools and similar tools.

In addition to the required technical skills, the ideal candidate will have strong Project Management skills including estimating resources, budgeting, delegating tasks, coordinating resources, tracking/reporting project status and completion of multiple concurrent, complex software and hardware upgrade projects.

Ability to enforce enterprise Best Practices for software and systems development.

Excellent presentation (technical material, procedures, reports and proposals) and written and interpersonal skills are REQUIRED!

Excellent conflict management and decision making skills are also REQUIRED!
