Description
This successful candidate will be responsible for selling HP, Sun and IBM servers, storage and services using technical, organizational, and customer knowledge. Established relationships with customers preferred. We are seeking an individual with strong hunting skills and additionally nurture relationships with existing customers in the tri-state area of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. Proven skills should include: Making sales contacts, researching customer needs to develop solutions with the application of product and services in an effective manner.Making regular sales calls to develop relationships as well as follow-up on leads and cold calls, establishing long-term relationships, acting to close deals and finalize contracts, achieving established sales quotas and financial goalsDeveloping and delivering sales presentations and closing sales in a professional manner. Participate in sales forecasting and planning in an effective manner by: researching, developing and maintaining long and short range sales and marketing plans; producing regular reports and final plans for the Regional Directors approval. Develop and maintain communications in a cooperative and professional manner with all levels of staff and customers.
