Berean Group is seeking a Senior Accountant/Analys



This position involves helping upgrade to a new GL (PeopleSoft). The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing financial support. Must be a highly organized professional with proven accounting and analytical skills. Responsible for the proper and timely recording of financial transactions in the general ledger in accordance with GAAP. Create and process journal entries. Other responsibilities include analyzing account transactions, preparing account reconciliations, resolving reconciling items utilizing problems solving skills, preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports. Ability to perform multiple tasks. Work independently and with other accounting team members, departments, locations and regions to resolve accounting matters. Develop solutions to a variety of problems of simple to moderate scope and complexity.





Skills/Experience:



Account reconciliation, entering journals on an old mainframe (typical GL activities - journal entries, reporting etc.)

Large Corporate Environement a plus.

PeopleSoft GL experience is a definite plus, but not required.

BA Degree is STRONGLY PREFERRED



Face to Face interview is required.
