We have an immediate need for a Senior Security Engineer with extensive AD security background for full-time, benefited employment.

JOB DESCRIPTION
This individual will be responsible for the development and design of directory and security services for a large division. This candidate will be responsible for Forest and Domain level engineering of Active Directory, internal DNS infrastructure, account administration and Windows Active Directory Infrastructure security implementation. The ability to map infrastructure and business needs to product technologies, tight coordination with research, architecture, business and engineering team, and strong integration skills to derive business solutions is essential.

Daily Responsibilities:
Implement and audit of security configurations, AD account/group administration related activities, and configuration and implementation of Active Directory site configurations
group policies and local security policies
Monitoring of AD replication and core services and facilitating automation and standardization for creation and maintenance of access of network resources
Cross-train in various support areas in order to provide assistance during after hours on-call rotation.
Candidate will also ensure that all documentation on security process and procedures are available and updated regularly.
Gain familiarity with current data center infrastructure and prepare design documents and presentations.
Clearly describes the design, including rationale for decisions and implications of decisions.
Work with Business Analysts to design & develop functionalities that meet business requirements.
Design, Implement, Test, Administer and maintain an Active Directory and DNS architecture for a large enterprise.
Use judgment and creativity to design a viable architecture to meet requirements/specifications as provided by business analysts.
Examine requirements documents and create technical design documents, unit test, system test, user acceptance test, and implementation plans for division.

Years of Experience Desired:
5-7 years developing manageability computing solutions
BS in Computer Science with a minimum of 6+ years of Enterprise Active Directory and DNS experience or MS in Computer Science with a minimum of 4+ years of Enterprise Active Directory and DNS experience.

Expertise Level: Senior

Necessary Skills (Must Have):
Extensive Active Directory and DNS planning, deployment and support experience, in addition to AD security delegation, AD disaster recovery, and AD group policy creation and administration.
Complete understanding of large-scale enterprise systems as well as complex system deployments and migration planning objects using Microsoft Products with a strong emphasis on Windows 2008.
Must show proven enterprise experience in architecting, designing, deploying, and administering Active Directory, DNS and Security technologies.
Must have experience Scripting (VBScript preferred) to create and deploy VBS and SMS Installer scripts to automate system tasks.
Strong communications skills, with the ability to interact with end-users to understand requirements and develop comprehensive and complete solutions that incorporate both technology and business processes. Ability to work on a team as well as independently with minimal supervision to achieve project milestones and deadlines.
Analytical minded self-initiative and self-driven personality.

Additional Skills Desired (Nice to Have):
AD/DNS Integration with virtual server deployments. Broad understanding of an array of technologies and their use, such as: MS Exchange, SCCM, SMS, SQL Server, SharePoint, Exchange Hosted Services, SCOM, ISA, and WSUS. MS SQL Database design/administration (2005 or 2008) preferred. Script development for task automation. Experience in technical lead roles for Active Directory, DNS, MS SQL, and Active Directory.
