Description
Solectron Corporation is seeking a Senior Analog Design Engineer to design analog circuits for medical systems and equipment. The candidate will lead the analog design efforts to insure cost effective solutions. The successful candidate will provide global leadership to hardware design & layout teams to implement and deliver specific analog design requirements on time and within budget. This position is located in Charlotte, NC.

This position requires a minimum BSEE, 10-12 or MSEE, 5-10 years design and systems development experience of mixed-signal circuits and hardware for medical systems (preferred).
Experience with medical products and services, adhering to FDA and ISO process requirements (preferred).
Experience understanding customer's circuit and board specifications, then implementing and managing design and CAD/layout activities.
The successful candidate will have experience designing analog circuits utilizing clock data recovery techniques, PLL/DLL, operational amplifiers, D/A converters, A/D converters, etc., performing circuit analysis with PSPICE or HSPICE.
A sound understanding working with Cadence and/or Mentor Graphic design tools.
Must have experience developing hardware design implementation, cost estimate, and schedules for medical systems.
Must have experience following development processes and managing multiple projects and product data as required for customer.
Must have experience providing direction to lower level staff to meet product and customer requirements.
Keen knowledge of electronic manufacturing procedures and materials.
Self starter with strong organizational, communications and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work on short-cycle design projects.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
