Qualifications: Information Resources seeks an experienced, self-motivated, and resourceful individual who meets the following qualifications: - Associates degree or technical certification required. A Bachelors degree is preferred.- Must have 4 to 8 years experience as a data analyst.- Must have strong working knowledge of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.- Must have strong working knowledge of relational and hierarchical databases- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills. Experience writing formal documentation and requirements. Some experience preparing and conducting presentations. - Must have technical competency with some of the following: Extract Transform and Load (ETL), Quality Assurance, Meta Data Repositories and Integration tools (e.g., message broker) - Must have experience with data and integration architecture.- Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills- Must have the ability to transfer knowledge to peers and train subordinates- Must have the ability to complete multiple assignments with changing priorities while still meeting deadlines.Responsibilities: - Gathers data requirements.- Analyses, designs and models data.- Administrates meta data repositories.- Administrates enabling tools.- Works with project teams to develop ETL process using ETL tools.- Performs data quality functions using quality tools (e.g., profiling, standardization).- Implement interfaces using integration technologies.- Works with development teams, business users and data stewards to ensure the quality of data.- Works with responsible parties on data management practices.Additionally, the Senior Analyst (Data Technologist) supporting enterprise data management will have the following responsibilities:- Ensures implementation of Company safety, health and environmental programs for employees whose work is directed. - Ensures that safe work practices are followed and the environment is fully protected in accordance with Company policy and governmental regulations.
