Description
The University HealthSystem Consortium, an alliance of over 90 academic health centers, has an opening for a Senior Analyst in the Clinical Information Management group of our Clinical Practice Advancement Center.

This position will use SAS to develop applications to recreate and evaluate critical business processes supporting the clinical reporting products.

Some of the major responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

. Write SAS application code
. Validate SAS programs for submissions to third party agencies
. Perform migrations and verifications
. Coordinate with other programmers and business leaders to write analysis plans and design data presentations
. Act as a resource for database related questions
. Prepare ad-hoc reports and analyses for clinical requests, manuscripts, abstracts and journal articles.

The successful candidate will have a bachelor's or master's degree. The position requires three to five years' experience creating SAS applications, preferably in a healthcare environment. Must be able to work independently, have excellent communication skills, and produce quality deliverables. SAS experience and the ability to understand different data structures and how to retrieve data from them is necessary. Must have strong organization, analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills with attention to detail.
