Job Summary

The Senior Analyst requires basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems, XP and Windows 2000 professional, intermediate knowledge of Windows troubleshooting and deployment tools, and Microsoft installer technology and application packaging tools. The position provides intermediate to advanced support for the desktop computing environment including a solid understanding of Novell's edirectory /Zen Works, and a solid foundation with Active Directory Group Policy administration. Position requires training and experience working with small to mid sized projects, and basic project management skills to manage small sized projects.

Job Responsibilities

Individually or as part of a team, contributes to small-scale projects. May integrate activities or processes.
Develops solutions to problems of limited scope using established methods. Proactively searches for solutions to problems through collaboration.
Provides short-term planning on discretely identified milestones; may provide input to short term project plans and cross-functional solutions.
Works with clients in a particular group or department to determine their business requirements.
Manages desktop application NAL deployments, including but not limited to Providing NAL objects to pre-deployment Testing groups
Evaluating testing results and resolving all deployment issues
Change control creation and approval and scheduling processes

Basic Qualifications

BS/BA+1 yr. or equivalent experience,
A+ certification.
Candidate should command a solid understanding of networking fundamentals and possess or be in the process of obtaining the following certifications: A+ desktop
certification, NET+ certification, and an MCP designation.
Candidate should posses an intermediate understanding of desktop computing support environment including a solid understanding of Novell's edirectory /Zen Works, and Active Directory Group Policy administration.
