Our client is looking for a Senior Application Developer and Database Administrator for a consulting position in St. Louis, MO.

Experience/Skills
Education: Bachelors Degree
Experience: Minimum 8-10 years of applicable experience related to Application Development and/or Database Administration.
Qualifications:
Microsoft SQL Database Design Create a database design to store performance information obtained from log files for PCs. Develop a data archival process for storing this information for a specified period of time and for storing summary data for an extended period of time.
Microsoft VB Script Development Update a script to parse text based log files to extract specific information and upload that information to the SQL database. Transact SQL Query Development Develop queries to mine the data from the SQL database and present to a front end for reporting purposes. Tie the data in the SQL database to other data sources for enhanced reporting (e.g. SMS SQL Database).
Microsoft Excel Development Create a front end for the data housed in the SQL database to provide management reports and the capability to further filter the data at the application layer.
