Description
Our client is seeking a Senior Application Support Developer for a contract opportunity (with strong possibilities for extensions). The Senior Application Support Developer is a customer-facing position that will require an individual that is a “self-learner” with a broad range of knowledge and experience in supporting a variety of 3rd party off-the-shelf (COTS) applications. The Senior Application Support Developer will be part of a team which supports the Global Partner Alliance Products serving the GMC, and will work in fast paced, challenging and dynamic work environment supporting/developing twenty five plus third party product applications which support our USA business unit. Required knowledge, skills, and abilities include: a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems Engineering or other related scientific or technical discipline, or equivalent experience required, experience working with Microsoft's Enterprise server products like Windows 2000/2003, IIS, MOSS, and SQL, senior level experience with integration techniques in an Enterprise environment. Familiar with PC's in a client/server environment including .Net Framework and other Microsoft products, database experience (MSDE, MS SQL 2000, 2005), experience with 3rd party (COTS) applications/vendors, strong people, team, and communication skills, the ability to present ideas effectively to peers, management and customers in one-on-one and group situations, and ability to successfully handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision. Accurately plans out and schedules tasks necessary to successfully accomplish a wider scope project with effective trouble shooting, problem solving skills. Additional skills preferred, but not required, include: knowledge of the following applications a plus: Microsoft PerformancePoint Server, Microsoft Dynamics CRM version 3.0 or 4.0, Creative Manager (Workamajig), knowledge of Active Directory and Telephony related solutions like VOIP, predictive dialer and ACD.
