Our applications engineering team is responsible for all software and database concerns. They direct their lackeys to fix hardware, network, and operating system issues. Recent fun tasks including load and stress testing till the app cried uncle, instilling discipline in unruly Java developers, the design and installation of an in-depth application performance network, and passing insanely stringent security audits.

General Qualification:
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or similar
Minimum 3 years of experience in application support of mission critical Web based systems
Minimum 2 years experience with J2EE app Server administration including build / deploy / management
Strong Shell Scripting experience with one of Bash/Ksh, Perl, Ruby, or Python
In depth experience with distributed Linux systems
Experience in Software Development life cycle
Experience in Business Application, Production Control and Change Management disciplines.
Understanding of System/Network administration concepts, procedures, and processes
Available for on-call 24x7 support
Ability to effectively and professionally communicate with management, staff, and customers
Strong ability to assess complex situations, set priorities, and implement action plans.
