Description
You will be a team lead that delivers technology solution for the Investment Bank client value community. The bulk of the work will be around understanding the business requirements, developing technical specs/design, data-model, estimating the work, writing code, system testing, supporting the UAT and implementing. A hands-on heavily technical developer as well as with leadership experience is required for this position.We are seeking a dedicated build manager who is a team player, self-motivated, and achieves technological excellence by staying abreast of new developments. This individual needs to be hands-on strong developer.Strong development experience using application server tools (Core Java with concurrent programming experience, servlets, JDBC), relational database (Oracle), Business Objects, UNIX (shell scripting) and web development (HTML, JSP). There will be a high degree of teamwork and technical peer interaction involved.

Requirements:

Responsibilities include:Complete full lifecycle projects and regular maintenance and enhancements on systems.Participate in meetings with the business to understand their requirements.Identify task and time estimates needed for projects.Code and unit test major modules.Prepare system test plans and conduct system testing.Assist in the UAT testing phase.Prepare and control project turnovers to production.Support business users by answering questions, researching system issues, and resolving problems.Help position the system for future growth by independently identifying functional deficiencies and proposing improvements.Develop and improve interfaces with other systems.Assist in system product upgrades to application software packages.Create system documentation and keep it current.Team leadership and provide guidance to the local developersQualifications:Bachelors degree and 3-5 years IT experience required.Systems design and development skills including analysis, design, coding, debugging, implementation & testing for distributed applications in a transaction oriented, data-warehousing type environment.Experience in the following technologies: 4 years experience in Application Server tools (Java/J2EE, Servlets, JDBC)3 years of RDBMS (Oracle) with datamodel design and stored procedures performance tuning experience4 years of Object Oriented experience2 years of UNIX and shell scripting1 year of web development (HTML, JSP)Strong communication skills and the ability to interface with business users and other technical personnel.Experience with Unix and Linux is a plus.Required Skills: Data Warehousing, J2EE, Java, Oracle, Solaris - SQL,
