Description
We are looking for two Oracle 10G Applications DBA's.

This person will act as the technical liaison between the application development tem and DBA team.
This person will gather technical requirements from the application development team, design and implement various database/data warehouse technologies to support their application/reporting and performance requirements , such as:
- Design and implement Star schema data model for an existing applications.
- Design and implement appropriate btree,bitmap indices,bitmap join indices.
- Design appropriate materialized views/dimensions and make sure query-rewrite is happening.
- Design and implement other data warehousing technologies such as cubes,rollups ,analytic functions, etc.
- Develop sql and pl/sql routines as required.
- Be able to analyze Oracle execution plans, different join methods, table access and identify deficiencies/improvements as appropriate.
- Escalate technical requirements and issues to DBA team.
- Provide oracle support as required and work with them to resolve issues.
- Perform research, debugging, benchmarks, proof-of-concepts, functionality and scalability testing on various database technologies as required.

Experience/Skills
Minimum eight (8)years of experience in Oracle database development.
Minimum two(2)years working experience in Oracle 10G.
Minimum four(4)years of experience in writing PL/SQL routines(triggers,packages etc)
Proficient in various Oracle partitioning schemes, Parallelism , Direct Loads , ETL process.
