The company is a global, diversified technology and new media company with operations in e- commerce,software and infrastructure development.

The Senior Programmer will report to our Director of Software Development, under the CoVibe, Tech Division. Candidate will be joining a team of dedicated, highly talented internal developers.

The Free BSD OS constitutes the cornerstone of our design and cost control. Web service is provided by the Open Source Apache HTTP Server Project, a fast and secure web server that powers 70% of web sites on the Internet. The site front end is written using the Open Source PHP Programming Language. There are several additional tools that are used in the operation of the site that are also Open Source. The web site is designed with innovative features including a content system that is designed for the average user to easily upload content to share with others. We need a hands on individual who is willing to work front end as well as backend and who has a passion for his work and 100% commitment to the project.

Required Background;
5+ years required PHP, UNIX & DBMS 2 or more of the following languages required:
C++, Perl, Python or Ruby
? Tuning and Optimizaton of high transaction interactive systems required
? Strong math and algorithm skill set
? Minimum 10 plus years experience in relevant fielddf-tc
