Senior Architect - Pega or IBM Process Server

The Hanover Insurance Group is seeking an experienced Senior Architect for our office in Worcester, MA.

As a Senior Architect you will be responsible for leading the process of converting business requirements into an architecture and design that will become the blueprint for the solution being created. This solution will be based upon design patterns that the architect has been involved in, learned about and will leverage within the collective experience within our Architecture Practice Center.

Requirements
  • Requirements Analysis and Strategic Planning experience
  • Strong Consulting, Leading and Mentoring along with excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Analytical, Conceptual and Strategic Thinker
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
  • 9+ years of industry experience
  • Property & Casualty experience preferred
  • 5+ years experience successfully leading collaborating and motivating global distributed technical project teams with 15+ members
  • Strong experience scoping, planning and delivering projects using iterative software development lifecycles over multiple release cycles
  • Previous experience as a lead architect on multiple large-scale product or enterprise designs

    Prior project experience in most of the following core technology areas:
  • SOA leveraging IBM technology solutions - UML Modeling - WebFi, IBM Process Server, IBM Business Fabric
  • PegaSystem; Pega Rules Solution
  • Leveraging industry Design Patterns
  • Web 2.0 experience particularly focused on RIA WebSphere Application Server
  • Rational Software Architecture
  • J2EE
  • Adobe Flex 2.0
  • Visio
  • MQ Series
