Midwest Consulting Group has an immediate permanent opening for a very Senior level OS/390 Assembler developer.

Requirements:
Sr. Assembler Language Programming Consultant for OS390 Platform

Description:
An senior Assembler language developer is needed to work with the existing team to implement new feature enhancements into existing product, support customers using this product by fixing defects identified by customers.

Required Skills:

15+ years in software development
IBM Assembler programming language - minimum 15 years of practical
experience.
SNA and TCP experience.
Debugging skills using dumps and traces.
Excellent communication skills - must be able to communicate with
developers, product managers, test engineers, information developers and
customers.
SMPE experience.

A plus but not necessary:
Knowledge or experience working with Connect:Direct
C and C++
XDC
ISPF
REXX
Endevor
