Description
5 years experience working with Perl. Strong OO Perl, HTML, JavaScript skills. Experience using other administrative languages (Tcl, Shell, Ruby). Experience working in a 7x24 Operations environment. Experience with various revision control systems: Perforce, CVS, RCS. Extensive experience with configuration management tools like cfengine. Strong inter-personal and communication skills and an excellent team player. Ability to identify tasks which require automation and automate them. A solid understanding of a UNIX-based operating system. A solid understanding of security concepts. A Solid understanding of TCP/IP and how IP devices communicate Experience with Apache modules and configuration. Proficient in object-oriented design principles with skills in Perl (preferred), Java, Objective-C or C++. Some networking skills and the desire to learn more. Experience with Microsoft platforms and with automating Active Directory tasks a plus.
