Job Description Job Title: Senior Backup EngineerFSLA Status: Exempt Full-time Location: New York CitySUMMARY:The Sr. Backup Engineer will have responsibility for the support of the Banks regional distributed Backup environment across multiple states, using EMC technology, Network Appliance, McData and other storage related technology. This Sr. Backup Engineer must possess an understanding of a complex combination of various storage technologies and operating systems and must be able to design, implement and maintain the Backup solutions. The Senior Backup Engineer will be responsible for maintaining the backup infrastructure, configuring backup clients, maintaining backup windows, schedules, rotations and retention policies, reporting and troubleshooting. Some regional travel and the ability to provide 7x24 support is also required.
