Description
Hardware Design Engineering development for DVH silicon validation test boards.
Specific tasks include the development of the Rubicon test board.

Responsible for board design specification development, schematic entry, signal integrity analysis, manage layout tasks, board bring-up and debug.

May also include FPGA development.
Design documentation, Interface with appropriate team members to provide status updates and identify issues.
Schematic capture.
Signal integrity simulations and analysis (pre and post layout), FPGA development - (VHDL), Manage board layout tasks.
Work with layout designer.
Hardware bring-up and troubleshooting.
Developing test procedures.

No travel required
8+ yrs experience/SR Level

MUST HAVE SKILLS:
1. Board design and schematic capture. (prefer experience with DX-Designer and Allegro)
2. Hardware troubleshooting and debugging - Digital and Analog.
3. Familiar with FPGAs and VHDL (Altera Quartis is prefered)
4. Logic Analyzer, O-scope,

Nice To Have: Prefer experience with the following interfaces:
1. PCI
2. PCI-Express
3. USB
