SolTech Inc., Atlanta's premiere custom software development firm is currently seeking a highly qualified Senior Business Analyst for a full-time/direct hire opportunity with our client in the Midtown/Atlanta area. We are seeking a strategically-minded individual who will be responsible for working closely with Business users in gathering high level requirements and serve as an effective liaison between the business side and technical teams. Leadership experience is also key!
In this role, you will be expected to:
Follow methodology for gathering high level business requirements including stakeholder analysis, and management of approvals as appropriate
Conduct JAD sessions to effectively document project scope.
Have a clear understanding of assessing and gathering business requirements in order to translate into technical specifications.
Establish methodology for developing business cases including benefit estimates, risk assessment and financial analysis.
Work closely with Executive Management to develop and implement process improvements for analysis of strategic initiatives.
Develop detailed business cases that establish business value of given investment to support proposed projects.
Ability to lead a team of Business Analysts.
Ability to work effectively as a leader and team member in a dynamic and changing environment.
Requirements:
Approximately 8-10 years of proven Business Analyst experience
Approximately 5 years of leadership experience
Strong understanding of SDLC
Highly effective written and verbal communication skills as well as strong analytical and problem solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Visio
Bachelors degree (required)
