Description
The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for eliciting technology and process requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis. Critically evaluating information gathered from multiple sources, reconciling conflicts, decomposing high-level information into details, abstracting up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguishing user requests from the underlying true needs. Communicating and collaborating with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements. Documenting and delivering the following artifacts as needed: functional requirements (business requirements document), use cases, GUI, screen and interface designs). Work independently with users to define concepts and under direction of project managers. Serve as the conduit between the customer community (internal and external customers) and the software development team through which requirements flow. Develop requirements specifications according to standard templates, using standard business language. Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs. Experience/Skills
Work experience in business with an emphasis in information systems and deep experience with technologies like .Net, HTML, ect. Experience/ interest in defining the role of Business Analyst in a growing organization. 3+ years experience as a professional business analyst required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
