Senior Business AnalystLocation: Carrollton, Texas Summary This position will define customer-driven business requirements as part of a product management team building new products and services for RealPage. The position will be responsible for developing instructional, marketing and technical documentation, requirement statements, logical data and process designs for RealPage products utilizing industry experience and client requirements.Responsibilities * Participate in requirements definition meetings with design team, contributing to and/or documenting the overall design as necessary* Develop high-quality technical design documents and requirement specifications within a scheduled timeframe with minimal* Work with QAs to develop metrics for assessing compliance of delivered products to outlined requirements* Lead small tasks and business process analysis sessions* Organize, participate, and conduct application demos and other internal presentations* Gather requirements from both internal and external subject matter experts* Assist product and development groups in resolving technical issues (e.g. designs, links)* Report and maintain software defects using defect management system* Perform all dimensions of testing, including writing test plans and test scripts; and testing functionality, integration and system-level performance* Participate in the Alpha and Beta testing of products and applications* Assist with training where needed* Contribute to process improvement activities.* Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and internal staff* Manage tasks to meet the assigned project dates* Operate under minimal supervision* Report on project status weeklyJob requirements * Excellent proofreading, written and verbal communication skills* Demonstrated project leadership skills* Attention to detail and highly organized* Ability to work in a focused, fast-paced team environment* Ability to change direction and reprioritize abruptly* Must be flexible and available after normal business hours to test production releases and other QA testing as neededEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE* College degree in Computer Science, Business or English preferred - equivalent experience may be acceptable* 2-5 years experience as an analyst or project management and/or technical writing* Experience dealing with clients and conflict resolution* Experience with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint* Some multi-family real estate experience is preferred* Experience with Mercury Interactive Product Suite preferred* Exposure to internet development languages preferred* Experience with Accounting, Finance and/or General Bookkeeping a plus* Experience with SQL a plusdf-tc
