CV Therapeutics seeks to hire an experienced an experienced Business Analyst ready to develop solutions for intra-corporate communication and business process challenges. This is an exciting opportunity for you to demonstrate and grow your Business Analyst skills while gaining knowledge in the life science industry.

Successful candidates will work well in cross-functional projects, and be a team player. They must be able to function well under limited supervision and structure. Good communication skills are essential as this position will interact with both technical and non-technical team members.

Overview of Duties
This position is responsible for the collating and managing of business requirements for new projects across the company. Responsibilities encompass the maintenance of project plans, requirements documentation, aiding internal clients, anticipating the need for new technologies and assisting in the development and execution of overall SharePoint strategy. The position reports to the Sr. Manager of Enterprise Content Management.

Specific Job Functions:
Analyze end user needs and work with external developers to develop SharePoint solutions to increase efficiency, streamline processes, and increase collaboration.

Develop and document the business requirements, design specs, prepare test plans and perform post migration quality assurance that encompass all aspects of supporting the SharePoint initiative.

Assist end users in building out sites through hands-on design, demonstration, training and consulting.

Write and/or edit technical documents (briefs, user guides, FAQ's, knowledge transfer documents, etc.)

Facilitate communication with business units to ensure all agreements and commitments are met.df-tc

Experience/Skills
BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Business, or equivalent. Detail-oriented, reliable, articulate and able to handle multiple responsibilities. 2+ years experience working in the Microsoft SharePoint Services (MOSS) 2007 and 2003 with a concentration in designing IT applications preferred. 2-5 years experience designing portals or web sites preferred. Must have 3+ years experience in Business Analyst role. Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proven project management skills. Strong written and verbal communication. Experience with MS Project and/or background in structured business processes and methodologies. Familiarity in any of the following is a plus:
Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry is a positive consideration for the successful candidate.
