Job Summary:



Position assists in the definition and coordination of systems development / enhancement projects through their successful completion. This entails either directly executing or indirectly managing assigned project activities on a regular basis. Responsibilities may also include providing ongoing support for existing business application software



Essential Job Duties:



??? Analyzes user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing computer system.

??? Participates in meetings with the user community to prioritize workload and gather requirements from users.

??? Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs.

??? Reviews computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations to determine if requested program or program change is possible within existing system.

??? Studies existing information processing systems to evaluate effectiveness and develops new systems to improve production or workflow as required.

??? Assists the user community with their understanding of the ERP system, data and how to use the system to achieve the desired business outcome.

??? Prepares workflow charts and diagrams to specify in detail operations to be performed by equipment and computer programs and operations to be performed by personnel in system.

??? Conducts studies pertaining to development of new information systems to meet current and projected needs.

??? Assists with documenting and testing programs and procedures ensuring that processes used are in compliance with the companies general computer controls.

??? Plans and develops new computer systems or devises ways to apply existing systems resources to additional operations.

??? May prepare time and cost estimates for completing projects.

??? Plans and prepares technical reports, memoranda, and instruction manuals as documentation of project development.

??? Performance of other duties as assigned.



Minimum Education Requirements:



Bachelor???s degree in a related area, or equivalent, 5-7 years experience in business applications / ERP packages.

5-7 years experience in business applications / ERP packages.



Special Knowledge/Skills and/or Abilities:



Prior experience in the following systems:

??? Change Management Software

??? MS Desktop Productivity Tools

??? Reporting tool and query creation knowledge

??? Knowledge of MFG/PRO, SQL Server, Progress and CyberQuery a plus.



Work Environment/Physical Demands:



May participate in moving computer equipment. Corporate office environment, business casual setting. Travel to other locations may be required.Also work may be required at odd hours or weekends.
