Description
The Sales & Marketing Information Systems (IS) Team is seeking a highly motivated and creative individual to provide process and system support to our internal global sales & marketing customers. This individual will act as a business process partner to the Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Legal and Finance organizations.

BSC has implemented a world class, fully integrated revenue management solution interfaced to multiple systems to support the end to end customer contracting / revenue management processes. This solution is comprehensive in supporting all facets of contract and price management for our U.S. facilities including:

  • Integrated Field Sales Management Pre-Contract Analysis
  • Contract Compliance Management
  • Multi-level net price approval management
  • Operational, analytical & executive reporting

    This position would lead the adoption and continued refinement of the PreDeal Tool implemented as part of the revenue management solution which will drive visibility to key data points of a proposed deal. This solution currently supports a team of approximately 200+ within Field Sales Management, Sales Operations and Contract Administrators across the US. As adoption of this tool continues the user base will grow to over 800+ users within the US.

    Key responsibilities for this position include:

  • Work with the sales management teams in driving the adoption of the pre-deal analysis tool

  • Work with the sales management teams to continue to refine the functionality and usability of the predeal tool including; documentation of policy and procedures, training materials and departmental communication

  • Identify areas for process improvement and establish effective and efficient business practices

  • Lead the business systems enhancement process following the Software Development Life Cycle Process:

    Gather and document business requirements
    Update and create functional designs.
    Document and Test completed development program
    Deliver revenue management solutions to the user community
    Validate the solution’s effectiveness
    Drive adoption of best practices

  • Work in a cross-functional environment, which will require management of priorities throughout the IS organization.

  • Participate in the evaluation new functionality including evaluation of vendors, if applicable.

  • Partner with consultants and internal and external technical resources responsible for configuration, programming and debugging.

  • Deliver training to all levels of the organization through an approach emphasizing site ownership and a flow of knowledge to the hands-on users

  • Work with manager in preparing weekly / monthly performance / metric reports and graphics on the effectiveness of the revenue management solutions

  • Provide ongoing communication and production support to all levels of the organization, working through the local business functional leaders
  • Assist in the reporting strategy for the revenue management solution working closely with the Sales Reporting team to harmonize reporting within current user community

  • Manage multiple priorities to meet multiple deadlines

    Experience & Education:

    1 – 2 years of experience in working with complex excel based applications
    3 – 5 years of experience in pricing analytics
    2 - 3 years of experience with working with sales management groups
    Strong leadership and communication skills
    2+ years project management experience
    Cognos Series 7 or 8 or other reporting knowledge is a plus
    Experience in the medical device industry is a plus

    Bachelor’s degree required
