Job Description:

Title: Senior BlueTooth Enginner

Location: American Fork, UT 84003

Must Haves:

-2 Years of Windows Hardware Driver Development Experience (Preferable for Netowrk Interface devices)
-2 or more years of Bluetooth Experience
-Experience Developing Communication Protocol Software
-Expert Level C/C++ Development
-BS or MS in Computer Science or related-Minimum of 5 years Software Development Experience

Nice to Haves:

-Previous IrDA development experience

Job Description:

Technical
-Designs, implements, tests, documents and maintains complex platform-independent software systems, subsystems and application programming interfaces, according to business objectives.
-Utilizes internal procedures and tools, and helps to improve them.
-Identifies and advocates appropriate product improvements or new software products.
-Provides technical leadership by acting as a team lead on certain projects. Helps train other engineers on project architecture and technology.
-Works on projects under the leadership of others. Quickly learns new technologies and product lines and provides assistance in development and maintenance.
-Works at many levels of abstraction. Pays attention to detail while still seeing the big picture.



Behavior
-Communicates clearly and professionally with team members, other company employees, and customers.
-Acts as a team player on a geographically distributed team by actively providing assistance to others and seeking it when appropriate. Promotes teamwork and cooperation within own department, between other departments in the business unit, and between business units.



Planning
-Determines the major tasks necessary to achieve the project goals and develops detailed task breakdowns, time estimates and a work plan to build, test, and release the product.
-Applies sound technical and past projects experience in estimating task size and duration.
-Executes the work plan, independently providing intermediate progress and exception reports to appropriate managers and project leaders. Identifies alternative solutions to achieve objectives. Highlights exceptions and risks to the plan, identifying actions being taken to address them.
-Achieves the committed results within the time frame, functionality, performance and quality objectives established for the project.
