Senior Software Consultant, Senior Consultant, .NET Developer - C#, Winforms, SQL Server - New York, NY

If you are a Senior Software Consultant, Senior Consultant, .NET Developer with C#, Winforms and Sql Server and experience developing complex Windows software solutions in the Asset Management or Hedge Fund space, please read on!

What you need for this position:
- 5+ years of experience in full life cycle software development in either a software consulting firm to asset management firms or as a software developer for hedge funds, private equity, fund of funds or a traditional asset manager
- In depth knowledge and practical experience with C#, Winforms, and SQL Server development
- Knowledge or various asset classes (highly desirable)
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills (this position will interface heavily with our customers and their end users)
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related degree

What you'll be doing:
- Provide senior level analysis, architecture, design, and development skills
- Construct full project plans for multiple resources including estimating timeframes, dependencies, multi-resource plans, and reconciliation.
- Present/Reconcile project plans to Project Leaders and Client Managers
- Accountability and responsibility for personal work and deliverables
- Establish yourself as an internal expert in a core technical competency
- Function as Sr. technical resource and work with minimal supervision
- Guarantee the technical delivery of all work you and your team are directly involved in
- Understand multiple technologies and assimilate easily into new technologies
- Display ability to work independently at a client
