Our client is a solid company that has a very good reputation in the community. Senior COBOL Programmer will analyze, design and implement needed features for our clients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to be part of the entire development process and have the opportunity to be the technical lead on a product. This position leads, creates and manages analysis, planning, logical design and maintenance of software applications. This position provides subject matter expertise on systems and business processes and interfaces with the BA to ensure that business requirements are transferred into accurate technical requirements. This position consults with BAs in areas of expertise and consults on complex problem identification and quality assurance issues. This is a Perm Direct Hire Full time salaried position and not a contract. The salary range is 60,000 TO 72,000 dollars per year, depending on experience. The successful candidate will have 5+ years development experience in mainframe development utilizing COBOL, JCL, CICS and VSAM.
