Description
Senior Analyst Programmer

The Sr. COBOL Programmer Analyst will be responsible for the design, development and maintenance of Mainframe and Web-based applications utilizing leading tools, technologies, and methodologies. This position will interact closely with client and internal teams on all phases of the software development lifecycle including requirements gathering, analysis and design development, testing, implementation and support.

Responsibilities:
- Implementation of object-oriented application frameworks and architectures
- Database design and development including triggers and stored procedures
- Develop, test and implement programs
- Provide operational support of key applications
- Provide off-hours production support (including 24 hour beeper support)
- Gather and document end user requirements, use cases, test scripts and procedures
- Perform disaster recovery testing and define procedures

Experience:
- 3 to 5 years experience as a Mainframe Cobol / CICS Developer
- 3 to 5 years experience as a Web Developer
- Experience in developing Order Entry, Item or Supply Chain applications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.

Education:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related fielddf-tc
