Adecco Engineering and Technical, a division of the world leader in the recruitment of engineering and information technology professionals, has an immediate long term contract opportunity for a Sr. CRM/Marketing Project Manager working with our client in the RTP, NC area.


This is not a "Technical" PM contract. In fact, it breaks down like this:

50% Business/Marketing experience
20% Technical experience
30% PM experience

Key role: to build customer databases

Primary Role
The Senior CRM Project Manager will be responsible for leading the development of (vendor hosted) CRM capabilities to support direct marketing, sales, and business development functions. The individual will liaison with both the business and IT communities. He\she will work closely with CRM stakeholders to ensure that CRM efforts are 1) aligned with the strategic roadmap (long-term goals) and 2) deliver short-term (quarterly) tactical milestones.


The role of CRM adviser, subject matter expert, and project leader will require hands-on involvement, requiring to:

- participate in vendor review and selection
- collect business requirements and define systems requirements stakeholders
- review, evaluate and make tool and software recommendations
- manage project implementation (inclusive of vendor resources, timelines, and milestone deliverables)
- develop and execute system testing plans
- select, test, and deploy tools (data access, campaign, and analytical)
- communicate progress and educate stakeholders of system capabilities

Knowledge and experience
- at a minimum 8 years Project Management experience in deploying integrated (online-offline) marketing database systems for B2B companies (at a minimum, two successful CRM projects)
- extensive knowledge of CRM technology, BI tools, customer database management and data hygiene processes and tools, reporting and analytical software
- ideal candidate's experience and career would breach many CRM/database marketing dimensions:
- experience with working for database vendor and client sites
- experience with managing IT projects and leading business deployments
- website/online marketing and traditional direct marketing
