We have an immediate need for a Senior Cache Administrator JOB DESCRIPTION Location: Seattle, Washington Responsible for creating and maintaining Cache configuration, synchronization and maintenance of all application environments (test, training, production) for Epic applications. Perform server software installations and upgrades, monitor, analyze and troubleshoot system environments, maintain appropriate version control, administration of scripts for file manipulation and programming access to multiple environments; synchronization of data and programs across environments; perform or assist in programming, interfacing and data conversion activities. This position works closely with application analysts, system administrators, and Chronicles programmers to complete assigned tasks. Education: Bachelors degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university with a degree in computer science, mathematics or related discipline required. Equivalent (1:1) related experience may be substituted for each year of college not completed. Licensures/Certifications: There are no legal requirements. Certification in the CIS application must be obtained within six (6) months of the start date. Maintenance of certification is required. Certification on the related product or group of products is required and may involve training and travel. Experience and Skills: - Five or more years distributed computing environment experience focusing in configuration, integration and management of complex applications, databases and operating systems. - Experience in enterprise application installation, upgrade, maintenance, database administration, version control and custom programming required. - Knowledge in all areas of system life cycle development. - Ability to analyze, define and resolve complex technical problems. - Ability to interpret extensive variety of technical instruction and deal with complex variables. - Experience in enterprise database administration such as SQL or ORACLE. - Experience with multi-dimensional data arrays. - Demonstrated ability in Scripting languages such as PERL, csh, bsh, ksh. - Demonstrated ability programming in C or other Object Oriented language. - Experience in data conversion and interfacing. - Demonstrated analytical skills: analyze complex tasks/systems/problems, determine possible solutions, and design, implement and evaluate most effective solution. - Demonstrated ability to prepare detailed implementation and test plans. - Demonstrated ability to document systems processes and procedures. - Ability to work tactfully and effectively with team members, the vendors and the user community. - Strong group participation skills and the ability to work well with other team members to achieve results. - Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written communication and presentation skills. - Working knowledge of desktop computer operating systems. - Proficient in MS Office 2000, Windows 2000 and XP (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). - Knowledge of database structures, data definitions and data relationships. - Experience with UNIX, AIX, CACHE/MUMPS preferred. - Demonstrated ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities. - Demonstrated conflict resolution skills. - Demonstrated ability to be self-directed, learn quickly with strong attention to detail.
