Senior Consultant ERP Systems

Overview:

NexTec (panies in the fast growth, middle and mid-enterprise markets.

We are currently seeking a talented individual for the position of Senior Consultant to augment our Los Angeles practice. Suitable candidates will have a strong consulting background, strong project management experience, solid experience in either accounting, distribution or manufacturing, and experience with accounting systems such as MAS500 or Great Plains. The position offers a competitive salary, plus a generous bonus program, and an outstanding benefit package.

Requirements:

The primary requirements for the Information Senior Consultant are:

* A Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Math, Information Systems, Computer Science, or Engineering, or comparable experience.
* Solid domain knowledge in accounting (e.g. a CPA certification), distribution or manufacturing (e.g. APICS certification)
* Solid project management experience (PMI certification is beneficial), and 2-3 years of project management experience on large accounting or ERP systems implementation projects.
* A minimum 5+ years of consulting experience, specifically implementing complex accounting or ERP systems (MAS500 or Great Plains is preferred) in a consulting capacity. Experience with Solomon IV or other similar ERP systems will also be considered.
* Basic MS SQL skills using Enterprise Manager and Query Analyzer for managing databases and querying data.
* Ability to modify and create reports using Crystal Reports / FRx.
* Ability to perform upgrades for clients to new versions of the Software
* Strong Customer-Centric Attitude and Strong Troubleshooting Skills.
* Excellent Interpersonal Communications and Technical & Business Writing Skills.
